Sheila is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Case Manager, and Qualified Supervisor in the State of Florida. She graduated from Kansas State University in 2001 with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. She spent several years working as an inpatient therapist on an adult behavioral health unit and in the private sector. She gained valuable experience facilitating individual, family, and group therapy.
Sheila views the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative process that utilizes family systems and cognitive behavioral interventions. She aims to provide a comfortable and trusting environment where the client feels supported, respected, and understood.
She primarily works with adult clients to help them learn tools that will challenge maladaptive patterns, and empower them towards achieving an improved quality of life.
