Fran began her clinical career in 2001 and has over 15 years of training in working with clients who have a history of trauma. Her experience and training has inspired her approach. Fran bases her work on using clients’s strengths and competencies as tool for change. In the context of challenge and support, clients are able to generate their own solutions and effect change in their lives.
Fran is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, who earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology/Sociology from the University of Virginia and her Master’s Degree in Counseling Education from the University of South Florida. She has received advanced clinical supervision in family therapy. Fran has many years of experience working with children with sexual abuse issues as well as family reunification. She has experience working with the legal system, and acting as a liaison in the community. In addition, she has over 15 years of training working with trauma. Altogether, Fran has over 18 years of clinical experience.
